Randi Fredricks' landmark book Healing and Wholeness: Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Mental Health is a 630+ page compendium outlining the scientifically-proven efficacy of using complementary and alternative therapies in the treatment of mental health. It contains over 3,000 citations for peer reviewed studies.

Randi has two new books coming out in 2010. The first is Depression-Free Naturally: Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Mood Disorders. This book contains thousands of evidenced-based references on the use of complementary and alternative methods for all types of depression, including depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, and seasonal affective disorder.

Randi's other upcoming book, Fasting: An Exceptional Human Experience was written in response to the demand for Randi's expertise as a lecturer on therapeutic fasting. This exciting new book discusses the use of fasting in psychology, religion, politics, and medicine.

In addition to being a published author, Randi writes articles about psychology, naturopathic medicine, and complimentary and alternative therapies. For the most up-to-date information on the latest studies regarding mental health, you can subscribe to Randi Fredricks' Total Wellness for Natural Emotional Health Newsletter.
