How Therapy Works
Taking the first step to find a therapist shows the desire and willingness for some kind of support or change in your life.
But how do you know which therapist?
Are you in a troubled relationship where it's hard to see your way forward? Dealing with life changing circumstances that seem
to be turning your world upside-down? Feeling challenged, stressed and emotionally overwhelmed or out of control?
The good news is, you really can feel better and I can help. I counsel, teach and support individuals, couples and
families toward higher levels of mental, emotional and spiritual maturity.
I specialize in relationship and marriage issues as well as the frustration, anger, stress, depression, and anxiety
that often accompany them. I will help you gain the "The Three C's": Clarity, Confidence and Courage you need
to create the changes you want in your life. You'll find me straightforward, supportive, encouraging, and relaxed.
I bring to therapy many years of education and training. I have a Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology,
a Doctorate in Naturopathy and accreditations as a Nutritionist, Herbalist, Hypnotherapist, and Registered Addiction Specialist.
I have authored numerous publications, including the books
Healing & Wholeness Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Mental Health and
Fasting: An Exceptional Human Experience.
My experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ensures an important level of professionalism; but it has
been living out the roles as friend, spouse, mother, and businessman with nearly 60 years of life experience that
adds depth to the therapeutic relationship. That's how therapy works.
